MoJin Solutions, LLC is looking for a qualified and ambitious professional to conduct food safety inspections in various food establishments. This includes, but it not limited to, an establishment that produces, serves, handles, and/or stores foods & beverages. A majority of responsibilities include conducting risk-based inspections, recording observations, and producing legal inspection reports in accordance with various food codes and policies. As an inspector, you will assess the degree of active managerial control an operator has over various foodborne illness risk factors. Additional tasks may be assigned to further the company. In this role, you will be part of a growing team that works to protect the public health through food safety practices. You will conduct inspections in various types of food establishments and work with the food establishment owners, managers, and staff to observe and document various aspects of food safety. You may also interact with Health Department or other government officials depending on the situation. 1+ year experience with MA Food Code, Food Establishment Plan Review, HACCP, and/or food safety inspections preferred, but not required Experience in commercial or retail open food handling Bi-lingual and Portuguese, Spanish, or Mandarin preferred Must be able to work independently and in a team setting Strong sense of integrity Strong written, verbal, and computer communication skills Personable & strong customer service skills Coachable and positive attitude Desire to learn and grow in the food safety industry Work schedule and hours may vary for this position, yet are flexible. Some shifts may require starting early in morning, some shifts may require starting later in afternoonRequirements: A valid U.S. driver s license Reliable automobile to travel to establishments Proof of automobile insurance Background check & ability to pass a substance test Ability to lift and carry inspection equipment, up to 35lbs.
